The Ægitna Literary Agency is proud to announce that we now represent the French translation rights of the renowned “African Writers Series” (AWS) for Pearson. Launched in 1962, this iconic serie has played a pivotal role in bringing African literature to a global audience. It features works from prominent authors such as Chinua Achebe, Nelson Mandela, Buchi Emecheta, and many more.

Many of the works in this collection remain untranslated into French, offering a unique opportunity for Francophone publishers to discover and publish these literary treasures. Ægitna invites book professionals to collaborate in making these works accessible, allowing the Francophone public to experience the rich literary diversity of Africa.
